New phase

After more than two decades developing engineering projects for the industry, Zeuko is approaching a new phase with the aim to consolidate the diversification of services and the focusing on the industry 4.0.

Our engineering gathers a large industrial tradition and is highly specialised in lifting equipment, transport and special needs, all of them key to face new added value services. The prospect of the future is to grow hand in hand with predictive and preventative maintenance in complex facilities and also aim to the development of advanced services and products within the scope of industry 4.0 -in particular in the evolutionary maintenance and in the monitoring of special machinery. According to Calixto Fernández Ibarguren, Zeuko’s CEO, the company experience in those fields is an important factor in differentiation. “We believe that the experience and technical authority that we have built are our best assets to develop these services.”

Zeuko approaches this new phase under new direction and strategic thinking. As the MD Ismael Bienvenido explains, “We have a very precise vision of the solutions we can provide to the industry 4.0 and we want to become  a benchmark in the container terminals, which is a very traditional industry.”. The new horizon has also been set down in the new corporate identity and the new website to bring services and solutions closer to the market.

From the experience gathered in facilities during decades, maintenance of equipment in ports, shipyards or nuclear plants is a key field where we can add value to our customer. The engineering approach creates a synergy with the maintenance that really makes the difference in our customer experience.

Zeuko is also an expert in modernizing and adapting cranes, in special lifting equipment, crawling, jacking and transport, as well as in special materials handling equipment. All of the above has lead us to be present in those sectors where lifting and transport are a qualitative part of the processes, such as container terminals, shipyards and heavy industry. We have also been involved in projects in Hydroelectric Power Stations and in Nuclear Power Plants.

Some of the last developing projects to highlight are the adaptation to Norma Nureg of Almaraz Nuclear Power Plant or the STS container crane heightening to be adapted to the new giant container ship in Noatum CTV.
